Empowering animal welfare advocates to reduce canine overpopulation

through education, healthcare & spay/neuter programs

Care for Canines was founded to address fragmentation within the

animal welfare system by providing coordination, partnerships, networks,

and collaborative frameworks that enable access to affordable preventative healthcare and humane spay/neuter programs to reduce the overwhelming, preventable overpopulation of unwanted, stray, and abandoned dogs,

while promoting adoption for dogs already in need of care.

Our initial geographic focus is the United Sates & Afghanistan

United States

Our Goal is to develop a national network to provide education for responsible pet ownership, the importance of preventative healthcare and spaying/neutering and to make these services available affordably in order to empower individuals and organizations to make informed decisions that reduce overpopulation.

Afghanistan

In Afghanistan, Human Health & Animals Welfare are inextricably linked. We will be working in collaboration with the Animal Welfare Nonprofits who have selflessly worked in this country for so many years to re-establishing a robust vaccination & spay/neuter initiative to reduce the population of sick, stray and abandoned dogs, as well as providing education & training, that we hope will shift cultural perceptions.

Every donation helps us support animal welfare professionals and the caring people who work beside them each day.

How to Get Involved

If you are a veterinary professional, work in or support animal welfare,      we encourage you to learn  about our national & international network.

Care for Canines is an ideal Corporate Social Responsibility partner for corporations and businesses involved in animal‑related products, services, health, and care.

Care for Canines focuses on long‑term, systemic challenges in the animal health industry, including enabling a national network of providers to offer affordable preventive healthcare and spay/neuter services to reduce overpopulation.
